JD Vance’s wife Usha wears a Retrofête snake dress for New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago

Usha Vance adopted a wild pattern for the Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve party on Tuesday in Palm Beach, Florida. Vice President-elect JD Vance’s wife wore a snake print dress by Retrofête, strapless design with a fitted bodice. The dress was covered in sequin embellishments in a snakeskin pattern.

This clothing choice marks a departure from Usha Vance’s typical style, which is characterized by more conservative choices. Her regular wardrobe often consists of straight-cut silhouettes and short sleeves. Her look is predominantly monochromatic, favoring neutral tones such as white, cream and beige.

In the past, Usha notably wore a cobalt blue off-the-shoulder ensemble for her speech at the Republican National Convention, a bow-adorned maroon jumpsuit for the vice presidential debate, and an off-the-shoulder black gown for Donald Trump’s victory speech.

At the New Year’s Eve party, Usha was accompanied by her husband, who wore a black tuxedo with a bow tie.

The New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago was attended by the likes of Elon Musk and President-elect Donald Trump, who was accompanied by his wife Melania Trump. Melania wore a black Versace column dress, a style that fits her love of understated fashion. The draped cowl neckline balances the rigid structure of the column shape. She also wore gold rings and black shoes.

Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk also attended the event in a crystal-embellished suit and statement diamond earrings.
