Jennifer Lopez spends the holidays alone while Jennifer Garner disobeys her boyfriend to get cozy with ex-husband Ben Affleck

Although the two usually meet up to do things with their children, Garner’s boyfriend, businessman John Miller, doesn’t seem to sense how much chemistry the two have and how close they have become in the last few months since Affleck and “Let’s Get” The “Loud” singer seemed to have called it quits.

An alleged insider told Radar Online, “John’s argument is that Ben is an adult and should figure it out without affecting their lives,” noting that one thing that annoys him deeply is that his wife always “runs to Ben’s side.”

The “Elektra” star apparently doesn’t see it that way: In her opinion, it is her duty to stand by her boyfriend and father of her children in a crisis. This reportedly causes disruption in her relationship with Miller.

“Jen feels responsible to Ben,” the alleged source explained. “But John wants to marry her – and he believes there should only be two people in a marriage, not three.”

Miller and Garner began dating in 2018 amid speculation that the two might ring wedding bells in the future. One reason people think this is because the “13 Going on 30” actress has been wearing a gold and turquoise ring on her ring finger lately.

However, some of these rumors also suggest that a marriage proposal was put on hold because of her ongoing connection with her ex and the father of her children.

While Miller may not have liked the couple getting together over the holidays, Daily Mail readers actually believed it was a good thing.

“I think this is better than changing children every holiday. But there’s no way he can do that if he gets another serious girlfriend or wife,” one person wrote.

“I guess he can’t decide,” said another.

A third person added: “He just recycles his ex-wives.”

But even they recognized that it could be a conflict for another partner in the mix.

This is Affleck’s first Thanksgiving since Lopez filed for divorce in August – on the two-year anniversary of their lavish second wedding.

J Lo spent her vacation very differently than Affleck. She had a solo pre-holiday brunch with her friends. While it’s unclear how exactly she spent the holiday, she posted a picture of her in a fall sweater and jeans over a stuffed turkey on Instagram.

According to sources, Affleck has been focusing on family and taking a break from his hectic filming schedule to spend more time with his children over the holidays.

“He’s very happy with life,” a supposed source close to him told People. “He enjoys his work. He’s going to spend Thanksgiving with his kids.”

While Affleck has been extremely transparent about his love for his children, his relationship with Garner is as complicated and salacious as it is endearing.

The couple tied the knot in 2005 after Affleck’s first split from Lopez. A decade later, the two announced their separation in 2015. Their divorce wasn’t finalized until 2017, but their connection remained strong even as Affleck’s love life with the “Selena” actress rekindled and made headlines throughout the year.

Could Miller fear that Garner would be there, just like he was 20 years ago, to heal his heart after the Bronx Bomb breakup? That’s not far-fetched considering they have three children.

Or could it simply be what people see: two friends helping out and teaching their children the valuable lessons of charity and giving back? The organization seems to believe they just showed up together to do the right thing.

“Thank you Ben and Jennifer for serving meals and sharing smiles on this special day,” the post continued. “Your compassion reminds us all of the true meaning of Thanksgiving – coming together to support one another.”
