Jon Bernthal appears in Christopher Nolan’s new film, but like the rest of The Odyssey, everything about his role is being kept secret

Punisher actor Jon Bernthal is the latest actor to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

According to Deadline, Bernthal is joining the director’s historical epic, but beyond that his role is “unknown.” That’s consistent with the veil of secrecy that shrouds much of Nolan’s latest project. Amid early rumors that went nowhere (including, oddly enough, something about helicopter pilots), for now all we’re left with is the source material – Homer’s Odyssey – and a stacked cast.
