Jose Ramirez from Guardians drops an admission that is frightened by all MLB opponents

The star of Cleveland Guardians, Jose Ramirez, is considered one of the best players in MLB. Ramirez may be able to take one step forward in 2025, based on his last entry over Zack Meisel of the athletic.

“I lost fat and raised muscles, so I have the same weight that I ended last season, but another body,” said Ramirez.

Ramirez was then asked if he made the change to have a season of 50/50 (50 home runs and 50 stolen bases).

“I would like to do 100/100, but the game is not easy,” said the guard’s third Baseman. “I will do my best.”

A 100/100 campaign can be possible in MLB The Show (maybe?), But the chances that it will happen in real life are extremely slim. Reaching the 40/40 brand is difficult enough.

Shohei Ohtani was the only player in MLB history who entered the 50/50 club in 2024. In the meantime, only six players have reached 40 stolen bases and 40 Homeruns in a single season (Ohtani, Ronald Acuna Jr., Barry Bonds, Jose Canseco, Alex Rodriguez and Alfona varieties)). However, Jose Ramirez came near the club in 2024 and ended the year with 41 stolen bases and 39 homes.

Perhaps Ramirez’s admission to increase muscles will help him reach the feat during the upcoming ’25 campaign. The 32-year-old is seen as a superstar, regardless of whether he reaches the 40/40 club or not, but it is certainly possible how close he came in 2024.

However, Ramirez ‘primary focus is on helping the Guardians to win games. Cleveland has not achieved any World Series victory since 1948. With Ramirez, who led the way, the Guardians reached the series of the American League Championship last year. However, they were ultimately defeated by the New York Yankees.

Cleveland ended the drought of the World Series over the years shortly before the end of autumn Classic both in 1997 and 2016). The guards simply cannot do the job in October. Maybe that will soon change with Jose Ramirez on the squad.
