Josh Allen will want to avoid Kyle Van Noy in the AFC Divisional Round

Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy led the team in total sacks in 2024 with 12.5 sacks. Soft-spoken, Van Noy has established himself as a game-destroying force for defensive coordinator Zach Orr, who will try to keep Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in check Sunday.

With teammate Nnamdi Madubuike on the inside and Odafe Oweh on the opposite side, Orr uses a swarm attack to contain opposing quarterbacks and keep them within the numbers. The Bills’ O-line did a great job of protecting Josh Allen in the AFC Wild Card game, but was still sacked twice – an important point to remember against the inexperienced Broncos opponent.

Linebacker Roquan Smith mentioned in an interview on NFL Network earlier this week that the Ravens’ goal was to stop the run and force the Bills into a one-dimensional offense.

Expect Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady to use quick passes, screens and misdirections to nullify the intensity of the defensive line. If not, Van Noy and Co. could tire out the Bills’ offensive line as the game progresses.
