Jury selection begins this week for one of four men charged with the 2019 robbery, kidnapping and murder of Tushar Atre, a Santa Cruz technology executive. Officials say Stephen Lindsay, who formerly worked for Atre, is accused of kidnapping him from his Pleasure Show home. Surveillance video from a neighbor’s home captured the incident. Atre’s body was found the next morning on one of his cannabis properties in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Jury selection begins this week for one of four men charged with the 2019 robbery, kidnapping and murder of Tushar Atre, a Santa Cruz technology executive.

Officials say Stephen Lindsay, who formerly worked for Atre, is accused of kidnapping him from his Pleasure Point home.

Surveillance video from a neighbor’s home captured the incident. Atre’s body was found the next morning on one of his cannabis properties in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
