Kai Cenat regains his Twitch subscriber record during a month-long live stream

The crown of Twitch subscribers is once again in the hands of Kai Cenat, who ends his month-long subathon with almost 727,700 subscribers. CNBC Reports. He more than doubled the record of 326,650 subscribers set by VTuber Ironmouse in September, overtaking Cenat’s No. 1 spot – a contest I’m suddenly very invested in.

During “Mafiathon 2” in November, Cenat streamed not only every day, but 24 hours a day. He was joined by a cast of characters that feel like the start of a bad joke: What do Snoop Dogg, Bill Nye the scientist, and Kevin Hart all have in common? You were guests on Cenat’s livestream – I warned you it was going to be bad. But seriously, thanks to these guests and his team’s takeovers that allowed him to sleep or go to the bathroom without a camera, he managed to stream for 30 days.

Twitch subscribers pay $5 for ad-free viewing and exclusive offers, and even if Twitch took a significant cut, Cenat likely made more than $3 million. He explained that 20 percent of his proceeds would go to a school he is building in Nigeria. Cenat currently has 15.4 million followers on Twitch and 6.79 million followers on YouTube. We’ll have to wait and see if Ironmouse tries to take back the crown.
