Kathie Lee Gifford reunites with Hoda Kotb’s 7-year-old daughter Haley

Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford get together for family fun.

On Sunday, December 8th, first Today with Kathie Lee & Hoda The co-hosts watched the New York Giants take on the New Orleans Saints at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey – and both women brought their families with them.

Kotb, 60 — who shares adopted daughters Haley, 7, and Hope, 5, with his ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman — took their oldest child, Haley, while the former NBC star’s son Cody came and brought his wife Erika. (Gifford’s grandchildren – Cody’s children Frankie, 2, and Ford, 1 – were also in attendance.)

Kathie Lee’s late husband, Frank Gifford, famously played for the Giants for 12 years, so the game was apparently a special outing for the family.

Kotb posted an Instagram carousel to mark the reunion. In the first shot, the group can be seen smiling together from their suite. In the second snap, Kathie Lee, 71, beamed as she posed with Kotb and Haley. Kotb also included a photo of Cody, 34, on the jumbotron with one of his sons.

The former hosting duo kept their outfits simple and opted for black and white looks. Kotb wore a white zip-up hoodie under a black blazer and the former Regis and Kathie Lee The co-host wore a black turtleneck and a white coat.

Kotb captioned her post, “@nygiants and @saints great day @metlifestadium.”

Fans and friends took to the comments section to express how much they loved seeing the legendary co-hosts together again. (Kathie Lee left Today in 2019 after 11 years of co-hosting with Kotb).

Jenna Bush Hager, who replaced Kathie Lee after her exit, left two red heart emojis on the broadcast journalist’s post.

Today Host Savannah Guthrie commented: “Best thing ever!”

“Awww!!! I love this so much!!! The dream team. KLG&Hoda😍,” raved one fan.

“The best duo with the best chemistry in television history… in my opinion. 💕 👍,” another fan posted on the app.

“It’s so nice to see you and Kathy (sic) together. ♥️♥️,” one person wrote.

Kotb follows Kathie Lee’s lead as she will be leaving Today Sometime in 2025. The popular TV personality cited the desire for more time with her family as one of the reasons for her exit. “Obviously I had my kids late in life, and I thought they deserved a bigger piece of my time than I did,” she told viewers during her announcement in September.
