Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos mourn a heartbreaking loss with emotional tribute

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos had a hard week. The couple announced the devastating loss of a beloved family member in his program “Live with Kelly and Marc”.

The couple revealed to his audience that after the death of her 17-year-old dog Chewie had taken a “rough 24 hours”.

“Chewie had stopped eating for a few days and had eaten less and less in the past few weeks. She was extremely dehydrated and had some neurological things. I will just be, but it is probably one of the most difficult things we as a married couple do had to, “said Consuelos.

“Thank God, we had no tragedy that we were such a large part of our lives.”

Ripa was terribly affected by the news

Ripa was largely silent in the entire segment when Consuelos shared the news with the audience. She broke out in tears after Consuelos unveiled that she adopted Chewie on the show.

“I’m really sorry. I thought I had everything out, people. I really thought I had everything out and I apologize because I didn’t do it. So I wanted it to go down. God, she has We gave so much, “said Ripa.

“We are with gratitude for this dog. I apologize, I’m so sorry. She gave us so much.”

Ripa revealed that Chewie grew up with her children and long after the children had moved and built up their own lives.

“When each of our children went to college and then moved out alone, Chewie stayed there like our unshakable companion.”

She closed by telling that Chewie “was something special and that she was such a good girl.”
