Kevin Love, Terry Rozier by Miami Heat missing in the middle of playoffs

Cleveland -The goal of all of the Miami heat was largely reached on this playoff path, with Pelle Larsson and Nikola Jovic withdrawn from their injuries.

And yet, while the other two players who are not available for the second game on Wednesday evening were against the Cleveland Cavaliers before their absence, they stay in the thoughts of the teammates.

Apart from a short appearance in the changing room for the Road Play-in game against the Chicago Bulls last week, the Veteran Center Kevin Love has been away from the team for weeks with its last appearance on March 21.

This has taken one of the loudest voices on the bench and in the changing room.

“We feel for him and what he is going through,” said coach Erik Spoelstra after the Shootaround on Wednesday morning in the Rocket Arena, whereby the heat officially listed the love as a way for personal reasons. “So it is more about being there for him. And we all know how much it means to us in our changing room. But that crosses that.”

The team’s news was to take the necessary time, and love recently offers several Instagram posts from Oregon, where he grew up.

“I think he will be nearby at some point, hopefully to understand that he has something personal,” said Center Bam Adebayo. “We miss K-Love, but at some point he could come back with us.”

Game 3 of the best-of-Seven series will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Kaseya Center.

Then there is the experienced security guard Terry Rozier, who shone his left ankle during an optional team training on Monday and left him in a hiking chair, on crutches and from the game on Wednesday evening.

While Rozier has not been removed in primary rotation for weeks, the work has remained constant.

“I really feel for Terry,” said Spoelstra. “You can see what kind of teammate he is, how much everyone is rooted for him, employees and players. I love his mood. I like how he is a team type.

“And even if he was not in the rotation, he is used to everyone. He continued to work. He always had this great working morality and this edge. And it is a crap that he was injured, basically at one of the last pieces of the scrimage. But he heals it quickly and we will only treat it every day.”

Adebayo said Rozier’s work was inspiring.
