Khamenei’s ideas will win. The question is how high the price will be that the world will have to pay beforehand.

When I talk about how important it is for anti-imperialists to share the Ayatollah’s commitment to resistance, I want to speak to anti-imperialists everywhere. This includes those at the core of imperialism where I live. No one can define how the liberation struggle unfolds in countries other than one’s own, and those at the core must be particularly diligent to avoid chauvinistic hubris. It is the United States government that is at the center of aggression against countries like Iran, and the primary task of U.S. citizens is to fight our government. However, this does not mean that we cannot be critical of the foreign political elements that hinder the anti-imperialist struggle. And such obstruction is occurring right now in Iran, where the US-friendly Pezeshkian faction is obstructing Khamenei’s resistance efforts at a crucial stage.

In early September this year, when Iranian President Pezeshkian stopped Khamenei’s faction from retaliating for Haniyeh’s assassination, Khamenei took an appropriate step opinion. He didn’t say he had Pezeshkian in mind when creating it, but he rejected the Pezeshkian camp’s argument that Iran’s enemies were too strong for the nation to fight back. When Khamenei was prevented from responding to Haniyeh’s murder, he was constrained by actors who did not want Iran to deal with the U.S. Zionist threat; who wanted to bring about a collective state of paralysis. This is what Khamenei helped combat through his efforts to reassure Iranians of their own steadfastness:

In the political sphere, the exaggeration of the enemy’s power makes people feel isolated, weak and unable to deal with the situation. The result is that they give in to the enemy’s demands. When they are asked to do this, they obey the request, and when they are told not to do this, they also readily comply. As we see today, there are different types of governments, both large and small nations, that act in this way. They say “yes” to everything they are told and have no will of their own. Now there are certainly certain protocols and conditions at the diplomatic table and in diplomatic negotiations. This “yes” can be expressed in various forms. However, the truth is that it is the same “yes” that you see. But when these same persons rely on their own people and their domestic skills, when they see the true nature of their enemy and understand that the enemy is not as powerful as they portray themselves to be, they can refrain from saying “yes.” .” But they don’t pay attention and say “yes.” This is the situation in the field of politics.

It took Nasrallah’s assassination – an event that reflected Pezeshkian’s false “peace promises.” led directly to it– to give Khamenei the political momentum he needed. And even though we saw an Iranian counterattack and a legislative attempt to encourage Iran to create a nuclear weapon, reformers continue to stymie progress. When it was revealed The fact that the “Israeli” aggressor attacked an Iranian nuclear facility on October 25, an action that was supposed to represent Iran’s red line, essentially confirmed that Pezeshkian interference continues. Although many Iranians mobilized against Pezeshkian’s pacifist activities after Nasrallah’s murder and the reformers had to retreat for a while, they still manage to hinder resistance.

As I said, we in the United States are not in a position to advance the fight in another country, nor should we try. Our task is to build a movement within the United States that can mobilize the masses of the country to overthrow the imperial state; which means we are hindering our government’s war effort. And to do this we must understand that the reformers and their allies in the US media are setting a trap for us.

They want us to only look at what is happening on the surface – where the Iranian president is seeking friendship with the Trump team – and uncritically support it. The reality is that if the Trump White House builds a partnership with Iran, it can only do so by further disempowering the anti-imperialists. It is a plan to turn Iran into a neo-colony; or at least to permanently hamper its military operations and let Washington inflict as much damage as possible on the Axis of Resistance countries.

The propaganda that our media is using to spread this deception is quite bizarre because it is a liberal media that is helping Trump succeed. In an AP/PBS Article— which draws on coverage of Iran’s enemy, the United Arab Emirates — Trump is essentially portrayed as a champion of reason and peace. And Khamenei is portrayed as a fanatical villain trying to stop him:

On Thursday, Pezeshkian appeared open to talks with Washington – even after Trump’s victory – and said: “It doesn’t matter who won the US elections.” “We will in no way have a closed and closed relationship in expanding relations with other countries limited approach,” he said, according to state news agency IRNA. That leaves open the possibility for negotiations… “Because Trump is a showman, he could announce that he wants to speak to Pezeshkian personally,” said analyst Zeidabadi. “Unfortunately the problem is that (the government) cannot accept this. Even if some people in the government are interested, the majority of hardliners will not allow it, and that may make Trump even angrier.” Still, some believe that Iran has already reached its breaking point. “I think Iran has no choice but to make peace with Trump, given the situation of the dollar (exchange rate) and people’s livelihoods and high prices,” said Sina Khaledian, a 32-year-old nurse. “There is a lack of medicine and healthcare. You have to do this. I think the country’s resilience has been exhausted.”

This last statement is a clear example of the exaggeration that Khamenei warned against when the enemy convinces his victims that he cannot be defeated. A deal with Trump to end sanctions is not the only way for Iran to improve its living standards, because there is a factor within Iran that significantly worsens the impact of these sanctions: neoliberal politicsimplemented by the reformers. These opportunistic forces have taken the profits of the Iranian revolution, carried out privatizations and abolished price controls. On the one hand, this has increased the damage caused by the sanctions; and prevented Iran from having a war economy capable of withstanding full confrontation with its enemies.

With “Israel’s” decision to immediately break the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, the reformers and their global allies have suffered a narrative defeat. Earlier this month, Pezeshkian said that a ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and “Israel” would encourage Iran to take milder retaliation; This was his tactic to justify a permanent delay in countermeasures. Now the Zionist entity has proven that it is pointless to negotiate with them, leaving the world outraged. Of course, a scenario like this has happened thousands of times; “Israeli” lying and committing crimes is the norm. However, I believe that we have reached a stage in the anti-colonial struggle where these acts are having a greater impact each time. The pressure to resist this genocide can now only grow, in Iran and everywhere else.

All of Palestine will become free and imperialism will suffer its final defeat; But these things will only happen through the will of those who share Khamenei’s ideas. More people are losing their lives every day because the USA and “Israel” are allowed to continue operating. And every day the philosophy of self-defense is further confirmed. Forces are building to enforce justice and free the globe from imperial order. How much more damage our enemies can cause depends on what actions we all take.
