Kyiv says that Moscow is preparing new military offensive to increase the pressure on Ukraine

Kyiv’s claim is made after Russia started at least four people overnight on Ukraine killing.

Ukrainian officials and military analysts have warned that Russian armed forces will prepare a new offensive in the coming weeks to strengthen the pressure on Ukraine and to strengthen Moscow’s position in potential ceasefire negotiations.

The expected push could lead to Russian President Vladimir Putin delayed peace talks in favor of other territorial profits, the Ukrainian officials said.

They confirmed long -term claims that Russia has no real interest in meaningful negotiations to end the war.

While the spring fighting time is approaching, analysts and military commanders report that the Kremlin is planning a multi-front attack over the front line of 1,000 kilometers.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, citing secret services, said Russian armed forces are preparing new offensive in the Northeast Sumy and Kharkiv regions as well as in Zaporizhzhia.

Overnight attacks

In the meantime, Russia started a massive attack overnight on Ukraine, killed at least four people and injured 36, according to local authorities.

The attack on the eastern city of Dnipro killed four people and injured 21 more. The attack also led to a large fire broke out in a restaurant complex, the authorities reported.

According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Moscow started 172 drone attacks from Friday to Saturday, including Decoy drones. Of these, 94 were shot down, while 69, according to the statement, disappeared from radar.

Additional attacks were reported in the regions of Sumy, Kherson and Kharkiv.

Increasing ages with the EU countries

Zelenskyy announced on Friday during a press conference in Kyiv that Ukraine had made agreements with several EU nations to improve its intelligence skills, including access to “relevant technologies and satellites”.

While Zelenskyy did not specify which EU countries are involved, he confirmed that France and Great Britain would take part in an upcoming meeting in Ukraine, which is expected to take place “within the week”.

He said: “France, Great Britain and Ukraine will definitely be there.”

Ukrainian troops in the Russia’s Bryansk region

In the same statement, Zelenskyy confirmed the presence of the Ukrainian troops in the Russia’s Bryansk region. He said that the Ukrainian armed forces had taken “appropriate measures” near the Kursk region of Russia to “dilute and disturb the concentration of Russian troops”.

On Friday, Kyiv announced that they had received the corpses of 909 soldiers killed in the fight, the largest return of fallen troops since the beginning of the war.

In a social media post, the coordination center for the treatment of prisoners of war states: “The corpses of 909 defenders were returned to Ukraine.”

In the meantime, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported in its telegram channel that the Ukrainian attacks on its energy infrastructure aimed at between Friday and Saturday morning.
