Kyle Larson blames wreck with Austin Cindric in Atlanta

Kyle Larson had his best super -speedway performance in the Nascar Cup series on the Atlanta Motor Speedway, but it was not without controversy. In the closing rounds of the event, Larson and Austin Cindric fought for the lead. The driver of Auto No. 5 was not clear and put Cindric in the wall and caused a wreck that contained William Byron.

The team Penske driver accused Larson after the event for the wreck. How does the Hendrick Motorsport driver feel after analyzing the situation? Larson jumped on Corey Lajoie’s podcast, stacked Pennies and discussed the incident with Cindric in Atlanta last weekend.

“It was definitely my fault,” said Larson. “I had this run and I just wanted to take it. There was a moment when I thought I was clear that it would be tight. And then I heard clear and that is, you know, my angle is getting bad. And how now I can start feeling there (Austin Cindric) and I’m tight. ‘I’m tight.’ And it was just too late and I pressed him in great time.

Larson blamed the wreck with Cindric and it is not really shocking. Car no. 5 clearly moved to the racetrack in curve 2 and led to car No. 2 bumped into the wall. Cindric came home with a 28th place, while Larson took third place. It will be fascinating to see how Larson and Cindric go forward with 24 races in the regular season.
