We will see lots of sunshine this afternoon with cooler highs around 55 degrees in Las Vegas. Highs will be in the low 50s in the far western valley and up to 57 degrees in the eastern valley.

Temperatures will remain below normal for the next few days.

The breeze will increase slightly on Thursday, with a 20% chance of mountain showers. The majority of this storm’s precipitation will remain in the Sierra, primarily impacting northern and central Nevada.

Valley highs will be in the mid to upper 50s through Friday, followed by warmer weather this weekend. Daily highs will climb into the 60s on Saturday and Sunday, with similar weather forecast for early next week.

Another storm system could also hit parts of Nevada on Sunday. The models don’t seem to agree on the timing and exact impacts. As of now, the majority of the wet weather will be north of Las Vegas.
