Latest news on the fourth day of the certificate

The second trial of Karen Read, a woman from Massachusetts who was accused of killing her Boston Officer friend, took up his fourth day on April 25.

Judge Beverly Cannone said the jurors will visit locations in connection with the case near Canton, Massachusetts.

The public prosecutor’s office in the opening statements on April 22 said that Read had hit O’keefe in a drunk anger. Her defense team, led by lawyer Alan Jackson, said the incident had never taken place and reading was framed for O’keefe’s death.

The jury in Read’s first murder process could not make a judgment, which led to a Mistrial in July 2024.

Read’s case has drawn national sums, with the internet of arguments analyzing on each side. It has also stimulated multiple podcasts, films and television programs with several true crime. Fearers of Read and O’keefe are likely to demonstrate within 200 feet from the courthouse.

What happened in the first days of the process?

Five witnesses were in the first three days of the certificate, including O’keefes mother, two of his close friends, a fireman who was dead in the morning, in which he was dead, and a restaurant manager who provided investigators.

Much of the certificate has revolved around Read’s actions in the days and hours of O’keefes. Massachusetts State Police Trooper Nicholas Guarino read text messages between Read and O’Keefe for more than an hour.

In the news, O’keefe and Read discussed their tense relationship and both recognized recognized that they were dissatisfied. “Things were not great for a while,” wrote O’keefe hours before he died.
