Lewis Hamilton confirms Ferrari changes after the disqualification of China

The seven-time Formula 1 champion of Lewis Hamilton has announced that he suffered from “much subordinate” during the qualification in Japan.

After a catastrophic Chinese Grand Prix, in which both Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were disqualified, Ferrari wants to be excessive planned and the latter, so as not to achieve the minimum weight after an initial race.

At that time the team published the following statement:

“After the exam after the race, our two cars were not met for various reasons,” said Ferrari after the confirmation of both disqualifications.

“The car 16 was underweight of 1 kg and the Kutschkid wear of Car 44 was 0.5 mm below the border. Charles (Leclerc) today had a one-stop strategy, and this meant that its tire clothing was very high, which led to the fact that the car was underweight.

“With regard to Lewis’ Skid Wear, we misjudged consumption with a small lead. It was not that we have an advantage. We will learn what happened today and ensure that we do not make the same mistakes again.

“It is clearly not the way we wanted to end our Chinese GP weekend, neither for ourselves nor for our fans, whose support is steadfast for us.”

As a result, the Maranello outfit was forced to increase the driving height in order to avoid a similar fate. In conversation with the media about his P8 qualification result, the British driver explained:

“Not good enough on my side. P8 is not great. We run higher than I want, but everyone is in the same boat.

“Charles (Leclerc) did a great job. We went into different directions with setup. I had a lot of sub -tax and just couldn’t choose it.”

The race on the legendary Suzuka racing route sees the threat from rain, which is hopeful. He added:

“I really love the rain, so I hope that he will come like this tomorrow after qualifying.”

Leclerc will start the Japanese Grand Prix from the second row with a start in fourth place. When the Monegasque driver spoke about the changes in the car, he also commented:

“We have some other problems, not particularly with the driving height of the car. I can’t go into too much detail.

“To return yesterday, we really found something out of my driving style that seems to work a little better and gave me a lot more confidence for the rest of the qualification, and this is positive for the rest of the season.”

“The other problems could take a little longer.”

Max Verstappen secured the Pole position with Red Bull and is accompanied in the front row in the front row of McLarens Lando Norris.
