Liam Neeson’s 3 million critically panned fantasy epic is a shocking streaming win

Liam Neeson will always be known for his roles in action films Takenbut almost 15 years ago he teamed up with one Avatar Star for a fantasy epic that was vilified by critics but still made a name for itself at the box office. Neeson stars alongside him Sam Worthington And Ralph Fiennes In Clash of the Titans – the film about Perseus (Worthington), son of Zeus (Neeson), who fights against the minions of Hades (Fiennes) to stop them from taking over Olympus and Earth. Clash of the Titans premiered on Max not long ago and has climbed to #7 on the charts despite receiving abysmal ratings of 27% from critics and 40% from general audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. Mads Mikkelsen, Luke EvansAnd Liam Cunningham also star in the film.




Travis Beacham, Phil HayAnd Matt Manfredi wrote the script Clash of the TitansAnd Louis Leterrier The film was directed. Leterrier is known for his work on The Incredible Hulkthe 2008 MCU action film Edward Norton as the title character, and he also recently directed it Fast Xthe 10th part of the Fast and Furious Franchise main cast Vin Diesel. Leterrier has also teamed up with Jason Statham for Transporter And Transporter 2the 2002 and 2005 action thrillers, both streaming on Starz. After work Clash of the TitansLeterrier steered Now you see methe 2013 heist thriller with Jesse Eisenberg And Mark Ruffaloand he also directed it The Brothers Grimsbya buddy cop comedy from 2016 Sacha Baron Cohen And Mark Strong.



Jason Stathams Death Race Recently premiering on Max earlier this month, it has had no surprising success on streaming, easily making it into the top 10. It is currently one spot ahead Megamindthe classic animated film with Will Ferrell. Rounding out Max Movies’ top 10 are several Christmas classics, including The Polar Express, National Lampoon’s Christmas VacationAnd Eleven.
