Libya drives out 10 auxiliary groups and accused her of changing her ethnic make-up

The measures followed that various international auxiliary groups in the country tried to change the ethnic make -up Libya by pushing African migrants to stay.

Some of the groups shown by BBC include doctors without borders, the UN refugee authority and the Norwegian refugee council.

“This plan to add migrants African origin in our country is an enemy law. It aims to change the demographic composition of the country and to threaten the balance of Libyan society,” said the spokesman for the internal security authority, Salem, on Thursday.

The Libyan authorities also claimed that the auxiliary groups she targeted “illegal migrants by providing food, clothing and medicine that encouraged these migrants to consider Libya as a final goal and not as transitland” in order to consider them.

In response to the move, the United Nations Refugee Authority (UNHCR) of the BBC revealed that the people who supports them are not “migrants”, but refugees who are urgently needed.

In addition, it claims to conduct the approval of the Tripolis government.

“We are in contact with the authorities in Libya and pursue them to seek clarity. UNHCR has been working in Libya for over 30 years and offers refugees, asylum seekers and Libyan communities in need of protection,” revealed spokesman Spindler.

A week earlier, one of the recently designated auxiliary groups, doctors without borders (MSF) pointed out that they had stopped the operations in Libya because of a campaign of harassment by Libyan authorities who have “appeased and interviewed” since mid -March.

“Our organization is very concerned about the consequences that these orders for the health of patients and the security of humanitarian workers will have,” said MSF in a statement sent to the BBC.

Libya is currently an important transit point for African migrants who want to pass through the sea to the European continent, and as such, complications such as human trafficking are not uncommon.
