Okay, it’s no secret that I am a huge Dolly Parton fan and love to go to Dollywood, especially now that there are more ways to learn more about Parton while you are in the park.

Wednesday turned out to be a perfect, sunny day in Pigeon Forge, Tn., Despite a not so good prediction of the most part of the week, we quickly switched the plans and went to our favorite postpark for the Flower & Food Festival, which contains over 500,000 lively flowers in the entire park together with the must-have-tasting pass (more about this later).

However, our first stop was the Celebrity Theater to see “from the heart – life and music of Dolly Parton”. I heard so many great things about this show when she made his debut last year and wanted to see myself.

The show whirls that the years of partons of musical journey will go through their earliest songs to their latest and popular hits. The show is only available until June 8th. If you want to see you now, it’s time to create plans.

We have been to Dollywood for many, many years and have seen many, many shows. For me, this was the best and entertaining show that we saw in Dollywood, and the hour was just over.

What makes the show so unique is that it contains different artists that portray parton in all age groups through their incredible musical journey. But you are not just entertaining, you will receive a history lesson about Parton and your family. I learned things about her background – she started as a copywriter at a record company in Nashville – which I didn’t know.

I really enjoyed it when Parton Johnny Cash scored for the first time and was allowed to perform in Grand Ole Opry. It was also emotional to hear the story as she ended her time on the “Porter Wagoner Show”, which gave her the big break she needed.

And how could you not love the Kenny Rogers-Dolly Parton duett from “Islands in the Stream”, which were really respected in the theater at the theater. And I had forgotten to sing Parton with Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris.

There were many other iconic moments/songs on the show that led to a great end that they have to see themselves to appreciate it completely.

We also visited Heidie Partons Kin & Friends, a show in which Heidie, Dolly’s niece and others not only performed some of Dolly Partons Hits, but also music by Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and many others. It was high energy performance and the different music genres made it very pleasant.

Of course, another trip through the Dolly Parton Experience is a must, in which you can see so many momentos from your career and various clips of your films, concerts and television appearances. You can spend the self -guided experience of 5 to 40 minutes, and I always take a lot of time here.

If that’s not enough, there is “HeartSong – the film”. It is a multi -sensory film experience where parton leads you on a journey through the Great Smoky Mountains in her unique style.

This is the festival where I also buy the delicious passport where you have so many options. Select five items that you want for the price (47 US dollars), and it is easy for two to share almost all articles. Our five options -honey -garlic -hühnchen -pan, loaded rat -off potato wedges, honey bbq pulled pork sandwich, hot honey bbq chicken mac & cheese and wild berries -fresh cheese funnel cake.

I really wanted to try the ice cream nachos, the broccoli pizza and the peanut butter and jelly ice cream -donut, but simply didn’t have the appetite to try one of them.

And yes, even at the age of 73 I am only one child in my heart. When I had the opportunity to take a photo with fluttering after she came from Wildwood Grove to greet and mix with the guests.
