Local Idaho charity opens toy store for Christmas season

BOISE, Idaho – St. Vincent de Paul has opened its 2024 Christmas Toy Store to help families in need with gifts for their children this Christmas.

Parents can sign up for the opportunity to choose toys and holiday gifts for each of their children at the nonprofit’s toy stores.

At the store, volunteers help parents choose gifts and even wrap them before taking them home.

General Manager Ralph May said the Christmas toy store is a fundraising event in the Treasure Valley.

“The Christmas toy store program here is conducted and operated exclusively in the Treasure Valley. “So anything donated here stays here in the Treasure Valley and benefits Treasure Valley families to provide for Treasure Valley families in need this Christmas,” May said
