Long Islanders have spoken out and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” is the most popular holiday movie in a survey conducted by Greater Long Island.
Readers had the opportunity to vote for up to three of their favorite films, and the results reflected a mix of timeless classics and modern holiday classics.
“Elf” and “Home Alone” secured second and third place, respectively. Rounding out the top five were “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Story.”
