Dončić’s first 26 games with the Lakers presented a production similar to its Final 22 with the Mavericks because he achieved an average of 27.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.

When the Mavericks were facing the Lakers for the first time since the deal on February 25, Dončić ended with a triple double and triggered a victory in Los Angeles.

The Lakers are currently in third place in the Western Conference and have teamed up as a legitimate title candidate with Dončić and LeBron James.

At the time of the deal, when Dallas acquired a package listed by Anthony Davis in an exchange for the cornerstone, which had just led the franchise to the NBA final last season, Dončić stood with many rumors about what had gone to the Mavericks and General Manager Nico Harrison.

Conditioning and laziness emerged as two of the most common threads.

Dallas’ decision to separate from Dončić did not fit well with fans who protested before the trade and before their first home game without Dončić before the Mavericks -Arena.

There were “Fire Nico” stalls, and when the Mavericks faced the Lakers in Los Angeles, according to Athletic, “Thank you Nico” from opposing fans.

For Dončić he meant in Los Angeles, he had to face everything that showed up why Dallas was going.

And even if more than two months have passed since the deal, this does not mean that the lack of respect has disappeared from his head.
