“Malcolm in the Middle” star has thrown Hollywood, the show Revival will not join

“Malcolm in the Middle” is set to revive four episodes on Disney+, whereby everyone returns apart from one of the original line -up.

In December, the streaming service announced the news with the stars Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek on social media.

It was recently announced that Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield, who played Muniz’s brothers Francis and Reese, will also return on the show.

Erik Per Sullivan, who played the youngest brother Dewey, will not be back for the series. According to Outlet, his role is played by Caleb Ellsworth Clark, who had roles in “Fargo” and “The Expanse”.

Sullivan has not been available in Hollywood for 15 years, with his last role in the film “Twelve” being attributed in 2010. The actor has also made “Malcolm in the Middle” meeting over the years.

Kaczmarek, who played Mom Lois in Hit -sitcom, spoke in an interview with Malcolm France 2024 about Pro Sullivan and said he was “well, he is very, very good”.

“He was not interested in it at all. He goes to school in a very, very well -respected American university, about which he asked us all to be quiet,” she continued and said he was working in Victorian literature.

She added that she admired his decision and explained: “I think so many people think that it is simply the best thing to be in show business, and it’s not for everyone.”

“He is a very grateful child for Dewey,” said Kaczmarek.

“Malcolm in the Middle” originally ran from 2000 to 2006 for Fox and received 33 Emmy nominations, including two victories for the late Cloris Leachman as the best guest actress in a comedy and two victories for the best direction and the best letter for a comedy.

According to the official Logline with Variety “Malcolm (Muniz) and his daughter, the new episodes are integrated into the chaos of the family when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40 -year wedding day.”

Muniz said to E! News in February: “I’m so excited. I think Brian and I spoke for the first time at a dinner that we had in 2015. And the fact that 10 years later, 25 years after the start of the show, it will happen – I am really excited. I think people will be excited to see everyone and the ideas with which they enjoy.”

He added: “Because that was also a big deal for me, the possibilities are endless about what Malcolm and his family could do. I read the scripts, so I know. And I think people will be pretty excited.”
