Man charged with murder after 22-year-old was shot and killed in Trotwood – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

TROTWOOD – A man is facing murder charges after he was accused of shooting a 22-year-old man in Trotwood late last month.

According to court records, 19-year-old Armone Darnell Kinney was arraigned Monday in the Western Division of Montgomery County Municipal Court on two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

As already reported by Message center 7On November 26th at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of West Sunrise Ave for reports of a shooting.

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital, where he later died.

The coroner’s office identified the victim as Eric Johnson, 22. He died Nov. 26 at Miami Valley Hospital.

Kinney pleaded not guilty in court Monday.

Online jail records show he is in the Montgomery County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
