Will Keane wants to bring one over the former teammate of Manchester United, Marcus Rashford.

“I am sure it was only a question of the time that would come for him, maybe it came a little earlier than expected – but he definitely made it the best when he stormed into the scene.

“When I got fit again, I knew it was probably time to continue.

“If you come through the academy as a united fan, you always want to persevere this dream of creating it there, which I could definitely recognize the potential before a few long-term injuries.

“It wasn’t quite equipped, but I still had a lot of good clubs and a long career afterwards.

“I haven’t seen Marcus for a few years. I think, especially in the past few months it has been great to see him back on his face with a smile.

“It looks like he is enjoying football.

“Hopefully he can have a day off for him if he plays – but it will be great to see him.”

Keane evaluates North Ends Cup as one of the highlights of his career.

He said, “It’s up there.

“The manager Paul Heckingbottom made it clear when he came in that a good cup run can bring everyone together and contribute to driving the season. This is definitely done.

“It helped to get a little swing – especially with every tie that is at home, it was good to go through this trip with the fans.

“Hopefully we can go one step further. It is definitely a big challenge for all of us.

“We are the only championship team in competition, and that’s something we all strive for, Premier League player.”
