Neville: Why did Amorim bring Rashford back?

Sky Sports’ Gary Neville at Old Trafford:

Man Utd coach Ruben Amorim on Marcus Rashford’s omission:

“It’s always the same reason. We have to be the same professionals, the same guys, whether we win or lose.”

“If I lose, I have to be stronger. I will follow my idea to the end.”

Asked if Rashford hadn’t shown anything different since his absence, he said: “If he’s not here, you can decide.”

“I’m always here to help Marcus as another player. I have to do what I have to do. You decided to do the interview because it’s not just about Marcus. I understand that.”

“As a coach, I focus on performance and the way you train. For the rest, it’s better for me and the club to deal with it when the time comes.”

“Right now my focus is on improving Marcus and we need a talented man like Marcus. I’ll forget about the interview now and see what I see on the pitch.”
