Martha Stewart has been accused of Photoshopping her holiday photos after fans spotted a bizarre detail in one of the images.

The 83-year-old home economics expert spent Christmas in Namibia and shares numerous updates from her adventures in Africa on Instagram.

On Monday, she posted some snaps of herself posing next to some rock formations in western Namibia – but many people noticed something pretty unusual about the first photo and wondered if it had been edited.

Martha, wearing loose-fitting khakis and a matching long-sleeved top by designer Suzie Kondi, posed with one hand in her pocket and the other against the rock – but her left hand was nowhere to be seen.

“Martha, your hand…” one person commented, while another asked, “Martha, where is your hand?”

A third person repeated: “Where is your left hand?” and a fourth said: “I think Martha’s hand is missing.”

Someone else commented, “I love you Martha! And your missing hand,” while another asked, “Where’s your hand?”

Another Instagram user simply wrote: “That left arm is mysterious.”

However, others insisted that the star had not altered the photo.

They suspected it was simply an “optical illusion” and her hand was not visible because it was behind the rock formation.

The mother-of-one, who recently opened up about her personal life with her own Netflix documentary, appeared to be back in New York City to ring in the New Year.

Posting a close-up of several containers of caviar, she wrote: “Wishing you all a Happy New Year and thanks for a great 2024 and hopefully an even better 2025.”
