Maryland Basketball Center Derik Queen nominates for the center of the year award

It was a great victory for Maryland’s men’s basketball when it was able to seal the deal with the former five-star queen. The elite talented signed in the terrapins about many other schools and Queen has led Maryland to a new level. The 17-6 terrapins are only 3.5 games in the Big Ten conference in the first place. While he could be a high goal in the season in the season, Maryland could lead a strong argument for a top five seeds in the NCAA tournament.

But the terps need queen to play well to do this. Queen leads Maryland an average of 15 points per game and he recovered 8.3 rebounds per game. With the way he plays, Queen was recently nominated for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award for the nation’s top center.

The Maryland basketball center, Derik Queen, was one of ten players looking for the Midseason Midseason Top 10 list in the Kareem Abdul Jabbar Center. The award is awarded annually to the best center in men’s college basketball. Queen is the first terrrapine to be included in the Midseason Top 10 list since Bruno Fernando in 2019.

Queen heads the TERPS with 15.0 points per game and is second in the team with 8.3 in the team. The 8.3 rebounds of the Queen Pro competition is one of the top markings in the big ten and occupies sixth place in the conference. On January 13, Queen scored 27 points against Minnesota and scored 20 or more points in seven games. Queen ended in eight games this season with double-digit rebounds and is second in the team with six double double games. Last month, Queen was appointed one of 25 players on the top 25 observation list from Wooden Award.

Fans can support their favorite players in the remaining rounds by presenting them at the voting of fan, which is presented by Dell Technologies, on Hoophallawards.com today. The fan vote will be considered a committee from the committee during the finalist selection process. In March the top 10 list will be limited to just five, and at the end of March the five finalists Abdul-Jabbar and the selection committees of the Hall of Fame will be presented in which the winner is selected.
