Megan Moroney will perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards

Megan Moroney is expected to perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. The rising country star joins SEVENTEEN, Teddy Swims, Tyla, Coldplay and Jelly Roll, who have already been announced as cast members of the show.

The 2024 BBMAs presented by Marriott Bonvoy will be hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau and will air Thursday, December 12th at 8:00 PM ET/PT on FOX and Fire TV Channels and on-demand on Paramount+, with performances also running on Billboard.com and published across social channels @BBMAs and @Billboard.

Moroney, whose performance is under the Carnival Cruise brand, is a finalist for best female country artist at the BBMAs. She won New Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards in May and New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards last month. Her second album, Am I okay?reached 3rd place billboardis on the US Top Country Albums chart and #9 on the Billboard 200 of all genres. The title song made it into the top 20 of Hot Country Songs.

As previously announced, Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen and Sabrina Carpenter are the leading finalists for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.

This marks the show’s return to FOX, which carried the show from its original broadcast in 1990 until 2006. Additionally, Paramount+ will offer on-demand streaming of the show, while the free Fire TV Channels app gives fans one-click access on Amazon devices (Fire TV smart TVs and streaming media players, as well as Fire tablets ).

The BBMAs celebrate music’s greatest achievements with exclusive original performances, artist interviews and awards ceremonies at venues around the world and amid sold-out tours. Shaboozey will make a special appearance from W Hollywood, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. Additional artists and special guests will be announced soon.

The BBMAs honor the year’s biggest artists, albums, songs, producers and songwriters across various genres based on year-end performance metrics billboard Diagrams.
