Meghan Markle’s big comeback in 2025 with two big projects – find out what’s coming

Meghan Markle is set for a high-profile return in early 2025, unveiling two major projects after months of work behind the scenes. According to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex will debut a Netflix series focused on “cooking, gardening and entertaining” alongside the launch of her highly anticipated lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.

Netflix show

Markle’s Netflix show, described as a celebration of “cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship,” was reportedly filmed in California and at the estate of philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, integral parts of the Montecito social scene . The series is scheduled for early 2025.

Lifestyle brand

American Riviera Orchard, Markle’s lifestyle brand, has been the subject of intense scrutiny and speculation. While rumors of alleged behind-the-scenes difficulties circulated, a source cited by the entertainment site clarified that Markle herself is the CEO, contradicting claims of leadership struggles.

To date, advertising for the brand has included handmade goods such as homemade jams. However, Markle’s legal team recently filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for a three-month extension to secure a trademark for the brand. This followed a USPTO refusal in September, citing issues with geographical location branding and similarities to retailer Harry & David’s “Royal Riviera” line.

Balancing private life and public image

Markle’s reemergence comes after months of relative quiet. The report, citing sources, said Markle has been focused on entrepreneurial endeavors: “She has been working on her projects in the background and 2025 will be an exciting year for her.”

Despite focusing on separate projects, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain the subject of speculation. Their joint absence from public events in recent weeks fueled rumors of strain in the marriage, but a source cited in the report dismissed those claims, saying the couple are struggling to raise their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, have a practical division of tasks, 3.

Closing of the Netflix deal

Markle’s Netflix show and Prince Harry’s upcoming documentary “Polo,” scheduled for release on Dec. 10, will likely mark the completion of the couple’s multimillion-dollar Netflix deal, according to a report. Markle will make a cameo appearance in the documentary, but reportedly doesn’t want to overshadow the project’s focus on Harry’s work.

The Sussexes are also scheduled to perform together at the Invictus Games in Vancouver in February.
