West Sacramento, California – Jose Siri was still on crutches on Sunday after leaving the game of the preservation with a packaging of his left shin.
The METS outfield fouled the shining cup from the shin cup, and although a subsequent X-ray was negative, Siri still had problems putting her leg on her leg a day later, says Manager Carlos Mendoza.
“He is in pain,” said Mendoza, before the Mets in Sutter Health Park were compared in front of A.
Mendoza would not rule out the possibility of an injured list for Siri, but said that the team would probably wait to see how he feels on Monday.

“With the way he feels, I could see this as a potential IL,” said Mendoza.
Tyrone Taylor, who replaced Siri on Saturday, started in midfield for the series finale. The Mets have no lack of outfield options, since Starling Marte, Jesse Winker and Luisangel Acuña are as options as options if necessary.
Siri has a rough start and produces with a clip .050/.208/.

Mendoza stated that the meters will probably use a sixth starting jug against the cardinals during the home series that will start on Thursday. The additional jug enables Kodai Senga to get an additional break with a game during this route of 13 days.
Team officials discussed José Ureña and Justin Hagenman from Triple-A Syracuse as opportunities for the start, but not excluded the idea of the top pitching view Brandon Sproat or Blade Tidwell.
On Sunday Ureña threw 3 ¹/₃ Innings for Syracuse and allowed a deserved run with three goals and two walks with two strike routes.
Mark Vientos received a start at DH and gave Brett Baty a start in the third base for the first time this season.
Mendoza said he was trying to lead the workload of Marte, and Winker fought with flu -like symptoms, which led to the decision to use VISTOS as DH against Luis Severino.
“(Marte) is a man in spring training who didn’t play much, but he was healthy enough to make the opening day,” said Mendoza. “Although he is Dhing, we play 13 (games) in a row, and we will do that all year round.”
