Miami AD Dan Radakovich takes aim at Alabama after College Football Playoff rankings announced

Miami ADVERTISEMENT Dan Radakovich took to social media to react to Tuesday’s penultimate game College Football Playoffs Rankings. He disagreed with the committee’s ranking decision Alabama before the Hurricanes and pointed out the difference in their last three games.

Miami has gone 1-2 and lost in its last three games Georgia Tech And Syracuse with a victory over Wachwald in between. Alabama took a 2-1 lead and won Auburn And Mercer when falling Oklahoma on the street.

Radakovich also pointed to the margin of Miami’s games compared to Alabama. The Crimson Tide lost to Oklahoma 24-3, while the Hurricanes lost both games by a total of nine points.

“Really??” Radakovich wrote on took UGA on 8OT). Bama went 2-1 (went 5-7 against Auburn, was destroyed by OU and beat FCS Mercer).”

Chairman of the College Football Playoff Committee Warden Manuel addressed the difference between Alabama and Miami during the ranking process. He pointed to the Crimson Tide’s record against teams in the top 25 after the second-to-last ranking was announced compared to the Hurricanes and how both have performed against programs over .500.

“When we ranked both teams and looked at their rankings, the thing that came down to it was obviously we have a high opinion of both teams,” Manuel said on the ESPN reveal show. “One is at 11, one is at 12. But what it ultimately came down to is that Alabama is 3-1 against current top-25 teams and Miami is 0-1. Alabama is 6-1 against teams over .500 and Miami is 4-2. Both had some losses that didn’t live up to their expectations in these games. But in the last three games, Miami has lost twice.”

Neither team reached their respective conference championships, meaning the committee has no reason to move them from their current spots. However, if there are surprising results during championship week, the bubble could get interesting.
