Miami Dolphins are “parting ways with Odell Beckham Jr” after the NFL star posted a cryptic Instagram message

The Miami Dolphins and Odell Beckham Jr. have mutually agreed to part ways, with the wide receiver placed on waivers until Monday.

The news was first reported by Tom Pelissero and it comes after the 32-year-old, a Super Bowl winner who dated Kim Kardashian, was not seen at practice on Thursday.

On Thursday, he also posted on Instagram: “One thing about me no matter what happens: I will always land on my feet. ‘God got me.’

After signing a one-year deal with the Dolphins, Beckham struggled in Miami. In nine games, he recorded nine receptions for 55 yards and did not score a touchdown.

Pelissero hinted that two playoff-chasing teams could sign Beckham to bolster their postseason ambitions.

“The release of Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to be official today,” he said.

“If he clears waivers, he can sign with any team. Two teams he previously played with, the Rams and Ravens, are currently in playoff contention…”

The Dolphins play the Texans in Houston this weekend. Beckham’s now-former team is 6-7, in second place behind the Buffalo Bills in the NFC East.
