Some of the best tennis players in the world are in Miami Gardens, Florida, for the 2025 Miami Open. This is the second part of the sunshine double. Last week the tour at the BNP Paribas Open was stationed in Indian fountains, and these two event activities on 1000 levels were always thrown together. This week, the players hope to damage hard places before switching to Clay. I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds. This was already a crazy tournament and I will continue to provide you with the best bets of tennis. Read on for my tips for Tuesday, March 25th.

Francisco Cerundolo against Casper Ruud

If you have read my tennis work for a while, you know that I am a big Ruud fan. Although I understand that he is one of the weakest players who have ever climbed in second place in the ranking, I also believe that the Norwegian is extremely underestimated on the basis of how it all had an effect. He is a damn good player, as his three Grand Slam last appearances. However, Ruud is undoubtedly a player who has to deal with certain matchups because he is definitely the best under slower conditions. Well, I can see this matchup that represents many problems.

While Ruud is somewhat worse under faster conditions, there may be no tournament on the schedule that produces a higher level than the Miami Open for Cerundolo. He looked most of his game against Tommy Paul on Sunday and went to the semi -finals here in 2022. By chance it was Ruud who ended this run and won 6: 4, 6: 1. At that time, however, court difficulties in Miami were much slower. Cerundolo was also very new in the scene. I think things will be different this time.

Ruud’s big top spin preliminary is one of the strongest weapons on the square when he is out there, but Cerundolo has one of the largest on the ATP tour. This becomes an interesting dynamic, especially with Cerundolo’s ability to flatten it and make winners. There is a reason why Cerundolo in the six games they have played in South Beach since the first meeting is 4-2 against Ruud. He is one of the few players on the tour who can get forehand after hand-to-before-hand battles against the Norwegian.

Ruud also looked as if he was a little late in his game against Alejandro Tabilo in the last round, and the Chilean was in a bad form in this match. This is not too surprising when you consider that Ruud’s fitness was concerned in this event. I am excited to see how much ruud will be left here in the tank, and you always have to worry about whether the Norwegian starts thinking about the sound season. Then Ruud will really come to life. But Cerundolo is currently alive. He loves this event, the crowd loves him and he has a real shot to make a run to Semis – or continue.

Bet: Cerundolo ML (-105)

Gael Monfils against Sebastian Korda

Monfils was able to survive Korda in Indian fountains and won 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4) in her early meeting. However, that was Korda’s first big match after an injury and they played a night game in the desert. These conditions were outrageously slow, which made Korda very difficult to beat Monfils. This will be much easier for the Americans in Miami, and this applies especially to Monfils who achieve a strenuous three-set victory against Jaume Munar. Monfils limped around as he often does, and worked late in this game. Sometimes you can ignore this with Monfils, who is a bit like a showman and likes to do what he can do in the department for playing. But his calves have just recorded in Monfils, and it could be difficult to play another strong opponent in humidity. After all, Monfils is 38 years old.

In view of this, I play Korda to overcome the hump and beat Monfils here. The American is one of the best ball strikers in the world, and he is almost impossible to beat when he is close to the climax of his strength. Well, ask Eliot Spizzirri or Stefanos Tsitsipas what you think about his current level. He played a flawless tennis in straight victories over both.

Bet: Korda ML (-149-1.5 units)

Lorenzo Musetti against Novak Djokovic

Djokovic scored two victories in this tournament in a straight set in so many games, but he was brought to a second tiebreaker against both Rinky Hijikata and Camilo Ugo Carabelli. So it is difficult to be excessively impressed at the moment of the 37-year-old level. In fact, Djokovic looked visibly worn out in both games the longer the games went. He could only get by because the quality on the other side of the network was not there. This will not be the case against Musetti. The Italian is not quite as good as somewhere else, but he is good enough to give this version of Djokovic a match. When Musetti is dialed off, Musetti is a good server who can crush the ball from both wings and at the same time has the movement that is necessary to play a good defense and to keep rallies alive. He will test Djokovic in this case, and I’m not sure whether the 24-time Grand Slam champion will answer the bell.

I play Musetti to win a set as a larger piece, but I also discuss the moneyline. The only thing I really worry about are Musetti’s past fights against Djokovic, which rises in the head when the finish line approaches. Musetti has lost many games against Djokovic, in which he had most of the battle in full control. He has to find a way to keep this out of his head, but that’s not easy – even if Djokovic is not quite as it used to be.

Bet: Musetti +1.5 sets (-112-2 units) & Musetti ML ( +250-0.5 units)
