‘Miami Vice’ remake set with ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Director Joseph Kosinski

The filmmaker of “Top Gun: Maverick”, Joseph Kosinski, will lead a “Miami Vice” remake for universal pictures.

Dan Gilroy (“Nightcrawler”, “The Bourne Legacy”) adapts the script. Although no details of action were unveiled, the film is based in the television series of the 1980s with Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas as an undercover detectives in South Florida.
