Micah Parsons insists the Cowboys can make a playoff push after their Thanksgiving win over the Giants

The Dallas Cowboys are still far from a playoff spot – they’re two games behind the Washington Commanders for the final spot in the NFC, and there are a number of teams standing in their way.

However, they are a little closer than after the 27:20 win against the New York Giants on Thursday.

The considered assessment of the win is that it was a feel-good win against a struggling opponent that will have little impact on the Cowboys’ overall fortunes. Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons is not a man of moderation.

“We know what we have. We know what we can do here,” Parsons told Fox’s Erin Andrews as the Cowboys celebrated their Thanksgiving win. “I believe we will turn things around and make a breakthrough.”

Dallas has five games left to play against the Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles and Commanders. A longer run is not impossible, but it will be difficult; Either way, Parsons seems ready to take on the challenge.

“There was a lot of trash talk out there about, ‘What difference can we make?’ … I’m telling you right now, we’re coming,” Parsons said.
