Minnesota Vikings in contact with the former Tennessee Titans QB

The Minnesota Vikings could possibly give some experienced quarterback depth behind the second quarterback JJ McCarthy.

According to reports from NFL on insider Jordan Schultz, the Vikings have contacted Ryan Tannehill with the former quarterback from Tennessee Titans, Ryan Tannehill, but have not yet reached an agreement.

“Sources: The Vikings have had talks with the former Titans QB Ryan Tannehill about a potential business,” tweeted Schultz. “The conversations continue and at the moment nothing is imminent, sources tell NFL about Fox.”

The Vikings decided not to re-sign the quarterback Sam Darnold after a career season and instead choose McCarthy after selecting a total of No. 10 in the NFL design of 2024.

The 36 -year -old Tannehill played the titan for five years and started 68 out of 72 games for the team, which included five off -season starts. He had a 41-27 record as a starter (including playoffs), while 1,234 of 1,853 for 14,447 yards, 93 touchdowns and 40 interceptions went.

The veteran had some memorable moments in Tennessee, who received a Pro Bowl nod in the 2019 campaign by winning the comeback player of the -year price rental. He also led the titans to the AFC championship this season, although Tennessee came to the later Super Bowl Champion Kansa’s City Chiefs.
