MLB author suggests wildly ‘last minute’ cardinal blockbuster

The St. Louis Cardinals were in the offseason in commercial rumors, but the opening day is on Thursday and it would be an absolute shock if it were something big in front of the greater area.

If the cardinals were doing large trades – namely for Nolan Arenado – it would probably have already happened. The opening day takes place on Thursday and the teams only completed complete spring training courses and made squad cuts and everything of this kind. It does not seem likely to be trading.

While this is the case, Zachary Rymer from Bleacher Report created a list of hypothetical “Last-Minute” blockbuster trades and suggested one to send arenado to the Houston Astros.

“Commercial proposal: Houston Astros receive 3b Nolan Arenado, St. Louis Cardinals, RhP Lance McCullers Jr., RhP Miguel Ullola (Astros No. 6),” said Rymer. “The Astros thought they had a deal for arenado in December, only for the ten-time Gold Glover to say” no “as a punishment for the Kyle Tucker trade. Houston was still back in February.

“Trading with Arenado would not necessarily change the Altuve program, but it would upgrade the Astros in all.

Arenado already completed a deal to the Astros months ago when he had pretty much had a complete low season to join a new organization. The opening day is pretty much here and there are probably no offers like this. If arenado is moved, it will probably be at the closing time or in the next low season.
