More Michigan Snow on the way, also for Southern Michigan

A storm system will bring its cold back of the system through Michigan this evening and Tuesday. The precipitation will sometimes be snow until after Ann Arbor and Detroit.

For most of us in Lower Michigan, this will not be a big snowstorm. However, we have reduced our standards, which for a large snow is given the fact that it is in mid -April.

The snow is usually mixed with rain at this time of year. This mix will be the case tomorrow, but sometimes it will be largely snow. The snow will develop over the upper peninsula today. There is a winter storm warning for part of the upper peninsula.

After midnight, the snow will develop over the north of Lower Michigan and then pull towards the sunrise towards sunrise tomorrow.

There is no reason why the snow is not a robust thrust made of wet snow. The streets are probably warm enough that snow will not stay long. If the snow is strong, you can hit the street for an hour.

In general, I do not think that you have to change your plans unless there are some landscapes. It will only be unpleasant for mid -April.

Southwest Lower Michigan will see the slightest amount of snowflakes. The thumb, high places in Oakland County and Genesee County could have up to one centimeter of snow on the grass. Northwest Lower Michigan around Cadillact, Traverse City, Kalkaska and Gaylord could have up to two centimeters of snow. The rest of north under Michigan can have a centimeter of snow.

It will be cold for mid -April. Our normal high temperature is now in the high-50-south and mid-1950s to the north.
