More sunshine is in store for Colorado statewide

DENVER – It’s going to be a beautiful weekend across Colorado with lots of sunshine, seasonal temperatures and good travel weather.

Temperatures on Sunday will be in the low 50s. Dry weather will persist across the country throughout the day.

The weather will remain calm throughout the weekend, with light winds in the plains and fewer gusts in the mountains. Cloud cover will increase tonight but should clear by Sunday afternoon, promising a really nice day.

Temperatures will be slightly warmer on Sunday, with highs in the lower to mid 50s in Denver. The temperatures in the mountains will be a little cooler – but only by a few degrees – and it will be sunny.

Next week will bring near-normal temperatures as Colorado continues to experience a northwesterly flow. Weather will be stable statewide with light winds and temperatures will rise to the mid 50s to low 60s in the Denver metro area through Tuesday and Wednesday.

There is some uncertainty until the end of the week as to whether temperatures will remain warm or cool slightly. A weak cold front could bring cooler air, but most models agree that dry conditions will continue.
