Mr. Milchick’s story of origin by Severance Star Tramell Tillman annoyed

What is the deal with Mr. Milchick? Compensation The second season increased the questions about Lumon Tenfold, but increased to give the audience some answers. In nine episodes, the creator Dan Erickson in the background stories of Mark S. (Adam Scott), Helly R. (Britt Lower), Dylan G. (Zach Cherry), Irving B. (John Turturro), Ms. Casey (Dichen Lachman) and Harmony Cobel (Patricia Arquette). Nevertheless, Tramell remains as mysterious as always.

Mr. Milchick is as loyal as Lumon. He started his term with the cryptic company as the supervisor of the separated soil and monitored the work of Mark S. and company before being promoted to deputy manager in season 2. While almost every employee in Lumon has made the efforts to uprising, Milchick has remained unimpressed and has commissioned the mission of his employer without a second thought.

Milchick’s origins are still unexplored, but that doesn’t mean that it does not exist. Screen Tillman interviewed to discuss his personal vision for Milchick’s background story, why he believes Compensation Season 2 final.

Tramell Tillman knows Mr. Milchick’s background story

“I have an idea in my own book who he is”

The viewers remain in the history of Mr. Milchick in the dark, but the man behind the mask has already published his own headcanon.

“I definitely have” Tramell Tillman told Screen When asked whether he formulated his own background story for Mr. Milchick. “This is always the best for me to create a story of origin for a character. I would not be able to embody milkick as I do if I didn’t give him a background story if I hadn’t given him a life to get him full.

Whatever these secret origins are, they laid the foundation stone for milkick, a model citizen in Lumon. When Tillman with the idea that Milchick was approaching Lumon himself and approaching himself to recruitment, Tillman admitted that this was the case “Very possible” That was the case.

There has to be something below the surface, right?

“We look at what Lumon is and how it is, and this almost cult infrastructure, and in these cult groups they often get people who are in endangered situations” Tillman explained. “These people lead or combine with these ideas because they give them a feeling of purpose, a direction, hope.

Part of what he gets out of Lumon is the trust because he is familiar with the fact that he protects some of the company’s greatest secrets, many of which remain discovered for the audience.

“One thing is certain that he buys himself in this philosophy and he has created a mission as a man.” Tillman continued. “And if they give him a mission, he will do it so much that he is sometimes very vulnerable and extremely powerful because he is also an owner of secrets. Someone who holds so many secrets and is willing to do everything to do a mission. It is very dangerous.”

Differentiation is constantly putting Mr. Milchick in “fight or flight”

“There is a lot of pressure from the goal”

Part of Milchick’s loyalty to Lumon could be due to the fact that he rarely has the luxury of processing the work he does.

“Milchick has always been in fighting or fleeing since the first day” Tillman explained. “Every day we see that milkick every time milkick tries a new tactic, whether it is the break room or a kind of incentive, blows into the face.”

What Milchick contrasts from other higher in Lumon, such as Harmony Cobel, is that he puts the brand over everything. Part of Cobel’s downfall in Lumon was her obsession with Mark S., an employee who had a special interest in fully holding his progress. That means, even if milkick does not lead to empathy, it does not mean that he does not have it.

Miss Huang is clearly disappointed as for Milchick her with Jame Eagan’s head in Severance Season 2, Episode 9, her ring play game.

“I think he has a certain level of care. I think there is humanity for him” Tillman detailed. “There is this discussion about whether he is a villain or not, and I love this discussion, because that means that it is ambiguous. And because it is ambiguous, this means that there is a certain appearance of hope, a certain appearance of potential for light, which he takes care of at a certain level.”

In season 1, Helly tries to argue with him when he sits with Helly during the break room and says: “You seem to be a reasonable type.” And there is this moment when he stops and says: “Not now.” There is always this practice there. There is something in him. It is not quite cold. I think that also makes him strange, personable.

Compensation At the end of his first season, the audience left a brutal cliffhanger with a brutal cliffhanger, the determination of which lasted three years. While the creator Dan Erickson told Screen Tillman teased that the spectators may be on the side again if he was not waiting for a third season that was no longer disadvantageous.

“It would not be separated if we didn’t let you hang, right?” Tillman teased. “Just a little. That is the brand, isn’t it? That is now.”
