My favorite Denzel Washington movie is now on Hulu

It wasn’t that long ago that I found myself in a crowded theater watching the phenomenon Gladiator 2. While the focus of the box office hit was Paul Mescal’s “Lucius,” my attention, like many critics and fans, was caught by Denzel Washington’s “Macrinus.” Washington was simply brilliant in this role, hitting the perfect tone as a funny and clever puppeteer. In fact, Washington was your classic scene-stealer, holding my attention with his comedic banter and not-so-subtle scheming. I wouldn’t be surprised if his future includes Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.

After being impressed once again by the legend of Washington, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my favorite movie, Washington, is streaming on Hulu starting December 1st. I’m not talking about that Training day, Philadelphia, The equalizer or American gangster. My favorite Denzel Washington film is actually the secret hit Antwone Fisher.
