Naomi Osaka was seen leaving Jamie Foxx’s birthday party in Beverly Hills with her rapper boyfriend Cordae on Tuesday night – before stopping to help a homeless man nearby.

The tennis star, who recently announced she will be ending her 2024 season early due to a back injury, attended the star-studded party at the chic Chinese restaurant Mr Chow alongside the father of her one-year-old daughter.

She stunned in a black bomber jacket and floral red dress at the party, which was also attended by the likes of Meagan Good, Jonathan Majors and Niecy Nash to celebrate acting and singing legend Foxx’s 56th birthday.

And as she walked home at the end of the night, Osaka extended a helping hand to a homeless man battling HIV and lupus.

Naomi and Cordae’s driver pulled over and pulled up next to the man in question as they drove away from the venue before they could be seen handing him a $10 bill.

Osaka could be seen watching from the back seat as the driver leaned out the window and handed over the money.

The four-time Grand Slam winner lives in Beverly Hills with Cordae, whom she has been dating for five years.

In July 2023, the two had their first child together, their one-year-old daughter Shai.

Osaka has had a test a few years after winning the Australian Open in 2021; After this triumph, she took a break from sport due to mental health problems before spending the entire last season on maternity leave.

However, pregnancy wasn’t the only thing that lay ahead for her in 2023, as over the summer she also shed light on the injury setback she suffered in her recent absence from tennis.

In a shocking post on her Instagram Story, the Japanese-born player shared a photo of herself on crutches after being unable to walk “without pain” just last September.

“I was asked why I was so emotional yesterday and honestly, if you don’t even factor in coming back from pregnancy, New York being my home, etc., I was a year ago,” she wrote alongside the image.

“I legitimately couldn’t walk without pain and didn’t know if I could still play at high intensity. “So yes, this sport means a lot to me.”
