National Weather Service gives “dangerous weather prospects” for more than 3 dozen PA. Counties

A large part of Pennsylvania will probably see a lot of rain on Monday, according to the National Weather Service on State College. In some areas, the rain is expected to begin on Sunday evening.

The National Weather Service gave more than three dozen counties a “dangerous weather view”.

Here is a look at different parts of the state that could be influenced by the rain:

  • Franklin, Perry, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adam, York and Lancaster Counties: A number of strong to heavy thunderstorms will be carried out by Monday afternoon, with the main threat to damage wind gusts
  • Erie and Crawford Counties: Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected on Sunday evening and overnight. Some storms could be strong to heavy with all endangered types, including harmful winds, large hail and some tornadoes, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, Ohio.

A number of strong to heavy thunderstorms will swing on Monday afternoon, with the main threat to harm the gusts of wind.
  • Tioga, Bradford, Susquehanna, Wayne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Lucerne and Pike Counties: According to the National Weather Service in Binghadton, New York, they are strong to heavy storms with harmful wind gusts.
  • Clinton, Sullivan, Center, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Bedford, Fulton, Tioga, Lycoming, Union, Snyder, Montour and Columbia Counties: A number of strong to heavy thunderstorms will acquire on Monday afternoon until Monday afternoon, with the main threat to harm the gusts of wind, according to the National Weather Service on State College.
