NC Weather | Cool weather under the way freezing warns for several counties

Raleigh, NC (WTVD) – Place the sweaters and don’t sweat away! Chillier Wetter is on the way on Wednesday and starts early, so you bundle the children for the bus stop.

A freeze warning will be in effect until about 9 am Wednesday for the following Counties: Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Halifax, Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, Franklin, Nash, Edgecompbe, Davidson, Randolph, Chatham, Wake, Johnston, Wilson, Stansly Montgomery, Moore, Lee, Harnett, and Wayne.

Lows will be in the sandhills in the upper 30s.

The temperatures recover to almost 60 on Wednesday.
