NC Weather | Cool weather under the way freezing warns for several counties

Raleigh, NC (WTVD) – Place the sweaters and don’t sweat away! Chillier Wetter is on the way on Wednesday and starts early, so you bundle the children for the bus stop.

The temperatures went back to the low until the mid-1930s and supported the freezer potential in the triangle. The normally colder spots could be almost freezing before dawn.

A freeze warning will be in effect until about 9 am Wednesday for the following Counties: Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Halifax, Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, Franklin, Nash, Edgecompbe, Davidson, Randolph, Chatham, Wake, Johnston, Wilson, Stansly Montgomery, Moore, Lee, Harnett, and Wayne.

Lows will be in the sandhills in the upper 30s.

The temperatures recover to almost 60 on Wednesday.
