Nebraska football is expected to trade wide receiver Cortez Mills

Nebraska received multiple predictions in favor of four-star wide receiver Cortez Mills’ 2025 landing class on Saturday. Mills has been committed to the Oklahoma Sooners since July 1, but Nebraska has never stopped recruiting the talented prospect.

On3’s Steve Wilfong and Chad Simmons made the predictions. Both predicted the Huskers with a confidence rating of 60. According to the On3 rankings, Mills is the 25th ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class and the 26th ranked player in his class from Florida State.

Mills has visited the program several times. He made two unofficial visits to Lincoln on January 20 and September 7. On April 26, he officially visited Lincoln for the Red-White game.

He recently made headlines when he was caught training while wearing Nebraska gear. The class of 2025 is full of talent. Other committed wide receivers include four-star prospect Isaiah Mozee and three-star recruits Jackson Carpenter and Tanner Terch.

It will be interesting to see what happens on Wednesday as Early Signing Day will take place. It is difficult to predict what will happen that day. Still, this is certainly a good omen for the program. There was a lot of excitement on social media about the news as the final phase of recruitment becomes increasingly heated.
