Nelly Korda calls her ‘number one goal’ for the 2025 season

Nelly Korda was the most outstanding golfer with seven tour titles, a large championship and the LPGA Player of the Year Award last year. However, their top priority in 2025 is “to stay healthy”.

Korda had suffered a neck injury towards the end of last year during the training session, which she kept away from some tournaments. She doesn’t want to repeat that this year. The 26-year-old will start her year at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament in Orlando.

At the press conference for the event, Korda was asked what her schedule would look like this year. While she described the competitions that she played and missed, she also mentioned that a large part of the schedule was planned to prepare them for the big championships. The ACE golfer added that her health would also play a major role in the decision of her schedule.

“You have to make sure that your body is 100%. Last year I had an injury until the end of the year. So close (laughs).” “So this will be my goal number one – just to stay healthy. If my body doesn’t feel 100%, I won’t push it.” (5:15 – 5:33)

Korda was further asked if she had made changes to her schedules that were taken into account. She replied:

“I will see how it works. I have my first part of the year until Chevron (championship) is somehow set. And after that it will only be the way my body feels.” (5:39 – 5:47)

The LPGA recorded its press release before the Hilton Grand Vacations tournament on its X account before the Hilton Grand Vacations.

The Hilton Grand Vacations tournament will take place from January 30 to February 2 in the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando. The price for the event costs 2 million US dollars, with the winner taking 300,000 US dollars home.
