The series titled Longmireis currently being promoted on Netflix “31. December 2024” It is the last day of streaming on the platform before the show is scheduled to be removed. While there are other ways to watch the series, including both DVD and Blu-ray releases, there is something strange about seeing the series being removed from Netflix.

After all, it was one of the first shows produced by Netflix. And while it wasn’t always produced by the platform, it certainly feels like a piece of history is disappearing. It shows that nothing is permanent when it comes to streaming services.

For those unfamiliar with the series, it stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Adam Bartley, Cassidy Freeman and Bailey Chase. The plot revolves around a Wyoming sheriff, Walt Longmire, who investigates crimes in a fictional place called Absaroka County.
