Nets VS Piston’s prediction, picks and opportunities for today’s NBA game

All good things have to come to an end, right? The eight-game victory of the Detroit Pistons was linked to a defeat of 15 points against the Nuggets on Friday, but Detroit doesn’t have to wait long to try to get back into the gap.

The pistons will try to sweep the season series against Brooklyn Nets after having hit at least 14 points in the last two meetings. Can the networks keep them competitive, or do the pistons win them in the Little Caesars Arena Handy?

My predictions of my networks against pistons expect Jalen Duren to crash the glass with authority in a narrow matchup with a low score.

My analysis
This season, the Brooklyn networks were one of the most stingy team against opposing rebounders, but the nets in the last matchups trouble to keep opposing centers from the glass. In the past 15 years, the networks have made most of the rebounds possible to oppose large men in a whopping 18.1 against tall men.

The Detroit Piston’s Center Jalen Duren achieves an average of 10.3 rebounds per game this season, but he took up things after a slow start in this department. In the first 37 games he only pulled down 9.4 boards, but has scored an average of 12.2 in 19 games since 19 January.

During this period, Duren met over 11 times, including five of his last eight overall and three of his last four at home.

Detroit’s starting center was better at home this season than on the street and pulled 11.4 rebounds per game in the Little Caesars Arena and only 9.3 in all other locations. He pulled down at least 12 rebounds in 21 out of 56 games this season, but that includes 14 out of 27 at home.

Duren got 14 and 15 rebounds in two matchups with Brooklyn last season, and I expect him to use a cheap home use this evening. I am more than happy about his rebounds line at -115 with an implicit probability of 53.49%.

He has reached the brand in 57.8% of the games since January 16, so we get it with a discount.

Low-scoring competitions have recently been the name of the game for Brooklyn because the team reached the bottom in eight of their last 10. The pistons are 4-5-1 to their last 10.

Brooklyn’s slow pace and improved defense should keep the score low here, and the first two head-to-head matchups between these teams have reached the bottom.

Detroit is 0: 2 to the bottom if it is preferred by at least nine points this season, and Brooklyn is 8-12 as an outsider of nine points or more.

Detroit won the first two head-to-heads with Brooklyn by at least 14, but the nets have been far more competitive lately.

Brooklyn has lost four out of five since the break, but the team is still 6: 4 and 7: 3 ATS in the last 10.

The pistons won 13 games with at least 11 points this season, but only five came at home.

The pistons have a 33-27 record, but the team has a negative differential at home.

Detroit’s latest success has made this line to unnecessarily high numbers, and I will withdraw Brooklyn to cover it.
