Nevada faces LMU in their first real road game

RENO, Nev. – The Wolf Pack is hoping for another win in its first road game of the season. After a heartbreaking 57-68 loss to Washington State, the team’s motivation to win has never been stronger this year. The Lions are also motivated to defend their home court after suffering a cruel 54-83 loss to another Mountain West Conference team in Colorado State.

The last time Nevada and LMU played each other was last year when the Wolf Pack defended its home court and won 73-59 at the Lawlor Events Center. The last game between the two teams at Gersten Pavilion was two years ago, when the Lions outscored Nevada 3:22 in the second half and turned a tie at halftime into a 64-52 win. Saturday’s game will be the fourth consecutive meeting between the two teams.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, with play-by-play hosts from Trey Bender and Bill Herenda. John Ramey presents the audio of the radio show on 95.5 FM KNEV.
